Why Cats Meow?

You probably know that the cat’s meow is the way cats communicate with people. There are many reasons why cats meow, which include saying hello, to ask for things, and to tell us when something is wrong.

Did you know that cats do meow only at people, and not with other cats? However, kittens meow to their mother to let them know that they are cold or hungry. Once they get a bit older, cats no longer meow to other cats.

Summer Haircut Style

Your pets deserve to have a good summer haircut during sunny season. Our veterinarian advised to shave down a one-inch length, and never to the skin, so that our dog still has some protection from the sun. If you have cats, it is advised to always brush them more often than usual. This will give them more comfort and can prevent problems caused by excessive heat. And always remember do use sunscreen or insect repellant products on your pets that are labeled specifically for use on animals.

Puppy Mouthing

We all know that puppies do love playing, chewing and investigating things and all of these activities involve using their mouths as well as their sharp teeth. Indeed, we often see puppies bite, chew and mouth on people’s hands and clothing.

For me it is indispensable that our puppies should learn to curb his mouth behavior. Thus, pet owners must train their puppies to stop mouthing and biting altogether.

Vaccinate Your Pets

We all know that pets received protection from many diseases from antibodies passed in his mother’s milk whenever our pet was born. It is a fact that these antibodies were dissipated by the time he was about three months old. It is therefore recommended that your pets like your cats will receive a three-in-one vaccine that protects against feline calicivirus, rhinotracheitis and panleukopenia, as well as a rabies vaccination. You can always talk to your vet what are recommended for your kitty.
