Airedale weighs about 25-30 kgs and stands about 58-61 inches. It has tan coat with a harsh topcoat and a soft undercoat. It eyes are dark colour, small and prominent and they are full of terrier expression, keenness and intelligence.
Airedale has the trademark terrier temperament, which is energetic, curious, feity, and boisterous. What is good about them is that the will provide you years of comic relief. They will certainly get your attention. They are intelligent and can easily learn new tricks. Furthermore, they are good watchdog, loyal, devoted, and protective. They will certainly bark when someone approaches your door.
Since they are large and high energy dogs, they are not recommended to go homes with young children. They might injure young child. BUt they can be the best pet in the world as long as you have to be the right family.
