Fish as my Pets

I am recently in love with taking care of fishes in our aquarium. We just bought an aquarium with fishes of course!

I found out that there are hundred types of fish that can be considered as pets. The most popular ones is the Goldfish because they live in cold water. While other fishes needed heated water and lights.

Like other pets, fishes depend on their owners for food, protection and shelter. For me, I have think many times before dealing with fishes to become better or more responsible pet owner. My kids also like fishes and they're loving to feed them (^-^)

Love Birds Multiplied

Next week, mother will be on the road so she expect me to take care of our love birds. It's the only pet we have in the house.

Two years ago when hubby bought these 2 love birds; the female is pretty in yellow-colored feather while the male is handsome in his bright bluish color. They are both lovely and are fascinated with each other. As I had a petty schmooze with my daughter one night, I saw them kissing and teasing while chewing vegetable leaves for dinner. I really like the way they show love and care for each other.

Being in love with each other, voila, two adorable chicks was hatched one day while everybody in the house are expecting. The young birds resemble their parents in terms of color. All of us are happy then, and the parents as well!

I guess I should learn the rudiments of taking care love birds now and then. I have to do some elbow grease to ensure a what you call sound mind in a sound body. From now on, I have to keep an eye on them.

Nanna’s Puzakal

Nanna often call me my moniker Cris rather than saying my full name Cris____. She loved me more than she loved her felines of course haha.

Having three domesticated cats in the house is a little bit annoying for me. I don’t like how these soft fur mammals behave. One time they have ruined my breakfast, turning zilch in my plate. I can also remember they have eaten those fishes I am cleaning in the kitchen after leaving open for a while. They even messed up too; so disgusting behavior.
Granny is so kind that she lets puzakals in our home. Adapting stray cats with love and care is the weird side of her. Well, we can’t do anything about it because it’s one thing that makes her happy.

Puzakals are then very glad because they are fed three times a day, breakfast, lunch and dinner. They are treated to be part of the family.

Butchik, The Azkal

I once have an azkal with popular moniker Butchik in my early years of existence. Butchik is a female, fat and adorable dog owned by my grandfather. She’s kind and a true man’s friend; a long time companion of whom you can trust to guard your house away from thieves.

Butchik is always on the go; always have the get up and go. She accompanies me every time I desire for a walk during weekends. She was a genial pet who can give you agreeable comfort, diffusing warmth and friendliness. Her not so thick coat is colored white with some sort of brown dots on her butt. Her head is hued in white, brown and black combination. And the tail is suffused with white to brown color too. I took her a picture before but it was really a low blow that I can’t remember where did I put it. If I can remember I have used an analog camera; there were no digital cameras at that time I think.

After five years of long company, Butchik passed away due to old age. She gets very ill and was not able to survive despite of the medicines we gave her. The veterinarian even visited her many times to check her health condition. Grandpa buried her just in our lot near his mango plants. There Butchik rest in peace.

The Poodle Next Door

Don, the boy in our neighbor, has a poodle- a lovely poodle that could catch the eyes of anyone passing by because of his wonderful physical appearance and his amazing tricks every morning.

Kairi, my pretty daughter often go out with Don and play with the little cute dog. Antsy was the feeling I got. I was not comfortable since my child has asthma but I can’t keep her away with it. I even told her that she might get bitten, which will cause rabies to get inside her body and she will be treated with a series of medications and the like. Each day I’m trying to beat my brains out finding the right and proper way of communicating with my child so that she can understand and get what I wanted to impart. Before going to work each morning, I find time to talk with her nanny to look after her. Ensuring her safety is my priority. Well, being a mother and a career woman at the same time is a daunting task though. I never bent out of shape and see to it that I have time for my self too.

Buy Gold Coins or Gold Bullion

We all know that gold coins are intended either to be sold to collectors or to be used as bullion coins. For many reasons, gold has been used as money. Compared to silver, gold is easily transportable because of its high value to weight ratio.

I think some people have misunderstanding of what gold bullion is. The common perception is that the gold bars are the most cost effective and that round bits of gold or gold coins are not really gold bullion. Bullion means a refined and stamped weight of precious metal. Large gold bars are an efficient way to buy physical gold. However, they can be costly to liquidate once removed from storage. Trying to liquidate size gold bullion bar, you may encounter assay and refining. It's much more difficult and time-consuming to liquidate gold bullion in a single chunk that is worth over $100,000 than it is to sell the same amount of gold bullion in more convenient and tradable sizes.

You can buy gold bullion and gold coins with Aurum Advisors, which understands the importance of providing protection to one's assets. 2.Check Your Lifestyle: If you are an active person who likes to go on walks or likes to run, you may want to get a high energy dog breed that would enjoy doing these activities with you. On the other hand you should probably consider a low energy dog breed if you don’t get out much to exercise.

Take Care of Your Pets During Winter

It is getting colder outside. From my previous posts, I have list some guidelines to help protect your pets. This article will add to the guidelines.

Did you know that a car can act as a refrigerator in the winter, holding in the cold and causing the animal to freeze to death? Then, you must not leave your dog or cat alone in a car during cold weather. Remember to make sure your companion animal has a warm place to sleep, off the floor and away from all drafts. A cozy dog or cat bed with a warm blanket or pillow is perfect.

Keep Your Dogs Inside

Does your dog spend a lot of time engaged in outdoor activities? Did you know that puppies do not tolerate the cold as well as adult dogs, and may be difficult to housebreak during the winter? If your puppy appears to be sensitive to the weather, you may opt to paper-train him inside. If your dog is sensitive to the cold due to age, illness or breed type, take him outdoors only to relieve himself.

Furthermore, be sure to thoroughly clean up any spills from your vehicle, and consider using products that contain propylene glycol rather than ethylene glycol. Like coolant, antifreeze is a lethal poison for dogs and cats.

Dog's Winter Wear

During winter, you must not shave your dog down to the skin. Remember that a longer coat will provide more warmth. Likewise, be sure to completely dry him before taking him out for a walk when you bathe your dog in the colder months. If you have a short-haired breed, you must consider getting him a coat or sweater with a high collar or turtleneck with coverage from the base of the tail to the belly. For many dogs, this is regulation winter wear.
